Celebrating 50 years of art in Buenos Aires' renewed art gallery.

Palatina is one of Buenos Aires’ most renowned art galleries, with over 50 years of history showcasing local and international artists. Palatina has become a reference point in the art scene: a place where tradition and contemporary creativity meet.

For their 50th anniversary, Palatina wanted more than just a commemorative logo. They needed a refreshed online presence that reflected both their legacy and their artistic identity. Their existing website had been built on a template they couldn’t access or update. Inquiries from potential clients were getting lost, and the gallery team didn’t have a clear flow to manage them. This lack of control was limiting their ability to communicate their exhibitions and continue building their prestige online.​

We started by solving the technical barriers: tracing the domain, disconnecting it from the old template, and setting up a new system where all inquiries could be received and tracked seamlessly.

From there, we created wireframes focused on flexibility: dynamic pages for exhibitions and artists that the gallery team could duplicate and adapt without relying on us.

For the design, we kept Palatina’s minimalist aesthetic but added subtle handcrafted touches to make it feel more authentic and artistic. The works of art were placed at the center, supported by clean layouts and thoughtful details that connected with the gallery’s legacy.
